Tide runners

‘Tide runners’ Since seeing otters for the first time back in the early eighties on a sea loch on the Isle of mull they have become an endless souse of inspiration. Above and below the surface this stunning mammal is a real challenge to get right. Wet and running along the tide line causing Ringed plovers to scatter gave me both a narrative and a depth of field to support the composition. I don’t need an excuse to explore the detail of the tide line debris.
